Terms and Conditions effective June 2015

                                 PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS                                        WEB SITE, BOOKING INTO A WORKSHOP OR PURCHASING GIFT VOUCHERS

Booking a workshop and payment:

  • A booking request may  be made by email or phone.  A booking request will be dealt with in the order it is received.  Any "unpaid" booking request made by email or phone will only be valid for 48 hours.  Payment for all workshops are by direct deposit and or Paypal, details will be provided to the client when booking request is received.
  • To secure a position in any workshop, the full and final payment must be received and cleared prior to attending class.  Under no circumstances will any person be able to attend a workshop that has not been paid in full.  Once payment has been cleared and you are successful at gaining a place in your selected workshop we will contact you to confirm that place. 
  • It is the responsibility of the client to notify Bywong Art and Craft when they have made their payment. Email provision is found under Contact located at the top of the page.

Payment method:  Direct deposit:   Details will be provided.

                                 PayPal:  An invoice will be generated for you

Workshop Cancellation:

  • Bywong Art and Craft reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to insufficient numbers.
  • Bywong Art and Craft reserve the right to cancel any workshop if there is a risk to any customers Health & Safety.
  • Bywong Art and Craft reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to ill health or any unforeseen emergency experienced by any instructor.
  • In the event Bywong Art and Craft cancel a workshop they will offer a full monetary refund or will offer you the opportunity to transfer to another workshop of the same or lesser value.  If a lesser value workshop is chosen by the customer, a credit-note for the difference will be issued.  If a higher valued workshop is chosen the customer must pay the difference within 7 days prior to the workshop date.
  • In the event a customer confirms not less than 3 days prior to a workshop/class, that due to illness, emergency or changes to an individuals personal circumstances they cannot attend their workshop/class, then Bywong Art and Craft will endeavour to discuss alternatives.  In the event that no alternative is suitable to the client, 50% of workshop cost will be retained by Bywong Art and Craft.

Customer fails to attend a confirmed place in a workshop:  

  • If a customer has paid for their workshop and their place is confirmed, and the customer fails to attend that workshop, no refund will be given.
  • No refunds will be given if you have simply changed your mind.

Product transportation: 

  • Once the customer has left Bywong Art and Craft Studio with their product/s (some workshops do have products to take home).  Bywong Art and Craft is not responsible for any damage or loss that may occur.

Photography:  

  • Photography of any individual/s attending any workshop is not permitted unless that person gives their express consent.
  • Customers attending any workshop are NOT permitted to use any video or electronic recording device.
  • Still photography of any demonstration inside the studio is permitted. 
  • Bywong Art and Craft reserve the right to photograph any workshop/class project, that image may be used on Bywong Art & Craft website or Bywong art & Craft Facebook page as an example for others, to promote that workshop/class.

Conduct: 

  • Participants in any workshop are expected to be polite and courteous to fellow participants, Bywong Art and Craft instructors and guests.
  • Offensive language is not permitted.
  • Bywong Art and Craft reserves the right to refuse entry to any workshop, or ask a client to leave if they behave inappropriately towards another client or instructor.
  • Intentional damage to property belonging to Bywong Art and Craft will be paid for in full by the person responsible.
  • Clients and customers are responsible for their own belongings.

Use of premises and equipment: 

  • Equipment is made available where mentioned in workshop descriptions.  Any equipment and tools made available are for use while attending workshops only and cannot be removed from the property.
  • Participants can access toilet facilities any time during scheduled workshop.
  • Tea/coffee and water will be available during scheduled workshops.
  • Studio workshop participants have access to a gazebo outside the studio for lunch, morning or afternoon tea  (where applicable)
  • Pruning workshop participants will have access to vineyard when accompanied by their instructor. 

Gift Vouchers:

  • Gift vouchers for a purchased value are available for use at Bywong Art and Craft.  Gift vouchers may be used for tools, equipment or a workshop.
  • Gift vouchers are NOT redeemable for cash.
  • Gift vouchers will be dated the day they are purchased and they will expire 12 months from that date indicated on the voucher. 
  • If the person named on a gift voucher selects a workshop that is a lesser value than indicated on the gift voucher then a credit-note for use in the studio will be issued.  If a higher valued workshop is chosen the customer must pay the  difference 14 days prior to a selected workshop.

Refunds:  

  • Refund request for any workshop or gift voucher will only be accepted within 14 days of the date of purchase and will only be refunded to the original purchaser.

Exchange/Transfer:

  • If you have received a Gift Voucher and you are not interested in any workshops made available by Bywong Art and Craft, it may be possible to transfer that Gift Voucher to another person of your choice.  In the first instance you would contact Juliana.
  • A transfer will only be considered for valid Gift Vouchers that have not been activated i.e. where a workshop has not yet been booked or confirmed.
  • Any transfer can only occur once.
  • When a booking is received and a confirmation into that workshop has been given, no exchange can occur.

Complaints:

  •  In the event Bywong Art and Craft activities do not meet with the customers expectations, it would be appreciated that any complaint they have be in writing to Juliana at Bywong Art and Craft.
